You should not have to hand over an email address to find out whether a budgeting app suits you. TheWalletly has a demo that runs entirely in your browser — no account, no signup form, nothing saved.
The demo loads a sample wallet with accounts, expenses, income and transfers already filled in, so there is something to look at from the first second. You can click through the dashboard, the ledgers, the categories and the month filter exactly as a signed-in user would.
It runs in your browser's memory. Nothing is written to Google Drive and nothing is sent to us, which also means your changes disappear when you close the tab — that is the point of it, not a limitation to work around.
Guest mode deliberately disables the parts that need somewhere to write: CSV upload, the whole-workbook Excel download, JSON backup and restore, and the Drive-backed actions under Settings. Everything else behaves normally.
Signing in with Google starts a real wallet — empty, in your own Drive, not a copy of the sample data. How that storage works is described in the Google Drive sync page.
The core ledger — accounts, expenses, income, transfers, categories and budgets — is free to keep using. Pricing has the current split between free and Premium.
